gratitude

Hi, it’s been a while. Despite the busyness of life, I decided to pause for a moment to express myself. We are now at the end of July, halfway through the year. Let me tell you, this has been a really tough year for me mentally and emotionally. It’s hard to put into words, but I hope for better things in the coming months. I want this year to end miraculously, so I’m manifesting before 2025 that something good will happen.

Despite these ups and downs, I understand that some things are just meant to be. Not everything is bad; In fact, there are many good moments that I am grateful for, even small ones. Let me share with you some of the highlights of my year so far.

First, I was able to form a music club at my school as an advisor. The support from my colleagues and students is amazing. Watching my students discover and develop hidden talents has been the most rewarding experience. I’m proud of them for stepping out of their comfort zone and showing what they can do.

Second, I moved three months ago, and it has been a game changer. Not only am I able to save money and time when I commute, but I also feel much more relaxed. Living on my own gave me a lot of freedom, and I learned a lot about myself during this time. Spending more time alone allowed me to grow and reflect.

My coworkers have been such a huge blessing to me. Knowing them has had a big impact on my life. I've learned a lot from them about being a good teacher and shaping myself into a better person. I appreciate all of their kindness and thoughtfulness. Working with them has been a great pleasure.

I also want to take a moment to appreciate my friends. Even though we don’t keep in touch as often as we’d like, they haven’t forgotten about me. Life gets busy with all our commitments, but whenever I need a helping hand, my friends are always there for me. To Hessel and Wesley, I want to take a moment to say thank you. I appreciate you both so much. Words alone can’t describe how thankful I am for your presence in my life. I know I might not always show it, but I hope you can feel my gratitude when I express my thoughts here. You both have been such a big part of my life, and I am deeply thankful for your friendship and support. Your kindness, understanding, and unwavering support mean the world to me. Even though I may not always say it, I hope you know how much I cherish and value our friendship. And to my other friends, you’re always in my prayers. I don’t know how I could ever repay your kindness, but I hope my prayers are enough.

Lastly, to my dearest, I appreciate everything you do. I pray that things go your way and that God blesses you with what your heart desires. Thank you for being a constant source of support. You know who you are.

Reflecting on these moments, I realise just how much I have to be thankful for. From the music club to the peace of my new home, from the lovely people around me to my dearest, these are the things that make all the challenges worth it. Even though things don't always go according to plan, I believe that greater things are in store for me. Each small blessing, each act of kindness, and each moment of peace adds up to something truly special. So, here's to appreciating every little blessing that comes our way and looking forward to even better days ahead.
