You're on your own kid.

As some of you may already know, I am in love with Taylor Swift. Lately I've been listening a lot to her Midnights album. Overall, I absolutely enjoy all of her songs but personally I'm kinda attached to her song "You're on Your Own Kid".

The song speaks volume to me on a personal level because, like Taylor, I too have found myself in a new city, all alone, trying to make a life for myself. And let me tell you, it's not easy. There are days when I feel like giving up and crawling back home to the comfort of my family's embrace. But then I listen to this song, and it reminds me that I'm not alone in this journey. It's like Taylor is saying, "Look, I don't have all the answers, but I've been there, and I can tell you that you're not alone." The phrase, "You're on your own kid, you always have been" is a reminder that I am responsible for my life and my choices. I have to be my own hero and make my own decisions. I believe that it's a daunting thought, but it's also empowering at the same time.

The song has taught me that it's okay to feel lost and overwhelmed sometimes, but it's important to keep going. It's also taught me that I don't have to have all the answers, and it's okay to ask for help.

In conclusion, Taylor Swift's "You're on Your Own Kid" has been a source of inspiration and motivation for me as I navigate adulthood. It's a reminder that I am not alone, and that the struggles and challenges that come with this journey are worth it. And who knows, maybe someday I'll be able to look back on this time in my life and say, "I made it through, and I'm better for it."
