perspective

I know this topic can be pretty touchy, and I want to make it clear that my intention is to share my own perspective without causing any harm.

I recently came across some buzz about the Paris Olympics, where a news source claimed there was an unfair boxing match between a woman and a transgender fighter. Another report suggested that the fighter in question might actually have been born a woman with a condition called khunsa, which involves having characteristics of both male and female sexes. You can google it for further details.

My take on it? Don’t take everything you see on social media at face value. It's important to let the experts handle these matters and ensure that fairness prevails. People’s opinions can get heated, but let’s trust that the professionals will sort things out.

When it comes to LGBTQ issues, I’m all for love—everyone deserves to give and receive love. That’s something I firmly believe. However, as a devoted Catholic, I find myself conflicted about offering full support to the community. While I won’t change my stance on this, I am committed to respecting everyone’s right to live their lives as they see fit, as long as it doesn’t hurt others.

People often approach me to discuss these topics, and it can get pretty sensitive. Some might misunderstand my “you do you” approach and question my clarity. To avoid lengthy justifications, I prefer to keep things simple and focus on what truly matters: love and humanity.

In the end, while my stance on supporting the LGBTQ community remains unchanged, my core belief is that everyone deserves love and the freedom to pursue their happiness. That’s what’s really important.

So yeah, that is my point for today. You do you.

God blessed 🩷
